Field Sales Representative

JJ Food Service is looking for an experienced Field Sales Representative to secure new high-profile clients at a complex level, with a clear understanding of the market. The focus of this role will be to expand the JJ brand into new markets. Success will be measured by the number of new customers, their retention, and increases in sales turnover and gross profit.
This is a field-based position; you will need to be flexible and able to travel as required.
Salary: up to £40,000 per annum + OTE Bonus
To be successful, you must have:
* Prior experience in new business development in Food Service Sector or a national accounts position with successful achievements in multiple sectors and managing tenders within those sectors
* Ability to work independently
* Selling and negotiation skills
* Knowledge of commercial insights and key profit levers
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Good understanding of JJ Food Service Ltd, the business, and the high-end restaurant sector in London
* Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to meet tight deadlines
* Willingness to stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and legislation
Responsibilities of the role:
* Secure commercial new business through active prospecting and managing a pipeline of opportunities
* Understand the market and how the company's products and services are used within it
* Grow and maintain customer relationships aligned with growth targets
* Use effective techniques for winning contracts, highlighting JJ Food Service's unique selling points, understanding operating and profit margins, and the specific needs of clients
