Overview
We are looking for an HPCP registered, enthusiastic, dedicated and highly skilled Senior Band 7 Radiographer to join the team at Charing Cross Hospital. Candidates should be skilled in CT contrast studies and ideally MRI or IR and have recent extensive Band 6 experience. As a band 7 radiographer you will rotate across all modalities and be responsible for supporting your managers in ensuring that service users' needs are met through the delivery of high-quality care.
The post will give you the opportunity to build on and extend your clinical expertise and also develop your management and leadership skills. Education and training are key elements of the department and the applicant should have a good knowledge of all specialised modalities. Being flexible and innovative in your ways of working will be fundamental to your role and good communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities
* Provide a high standard of clinical work when carrying out radiographic procedures.
* Depute in the modalities you are working in and provide expert level knowledge in a fast paced imaging department.
* Manage duties in CT including vetting of outpatient requests, organising interventional procedures and ensuring efficient service of inpatient and outpatient scanners. Effective communication skills are vital due to the multidisciplinary nature of the work.
* Ensure compliance with our clinical governance framework, motivate colleagues, champion service user safety and dignity and drive continuous improvement.
