Accounts Receivable Specialist Location: Leeds, Thorpe Park, Hybrid working. We're currently searching for our next Accounts Receivable Specialist to join us. Full training can be provided for this role so as long as you have a great work ethic, resilience, strong organization/administration skills, and excellent communication skills, then this may be the perfect opportunity for you. Accountabilities and Responsibilities: Carry out all expectations relating to billing requirements in accordance with daily/weekly/monthly deadlines. Ensure all cash receipts are allocated to client accounts timely and within deadlines or escalated to relevant contact where additional information is required. Operate all tasks in accordance with current SOPS / supporting process notes. Carry out all required cash collection activities in accordance with expectations and to ensure ledger remains up to date and accurate reflecting true overdue debt and open items. Ensure any query is responded to or escalated within required expectations. Drive continuous improvement by reviewing all processes and looking for ways to improve process steps or improve efficiencies. Support and assist with all tasks within owned region or wider AR as and when required. Ensure any issue affecting normal day to day activity is escalated to an AR lead in a timely manner to ensure an appropriate solution can be identified. What we need from you: Previous accounts receivable or similar administrative background experience is desirable. Good attention to detail A strong sense of ownership and accountability of role requirements and expectations. Ability to respond to changing deadlines and manage a variation of tasks is essential. Ability to manage deadlines in accordance with role requirements and escalate timely where deadlines are compromised or at risk. Good communication skills at all levels both oral and written. Ability to work independently but with a strong sense of teamwork to manage all task requirements. Basic / intermediate excel skills and Oracle experience is preferable.
