Job Description
Oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Develop and implement processes to enhance efficiency and compliance within accounts payable operations.
Manage vendor relationships and resolve any payment or invoicing discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and policies.
Collaborate with other departments within Accounting & Finance to support financial reporting and audits.
Provide leadership and guidance to the accounts payable team, fostering a productive work environment.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to accounts payable activities.
Support the implementation of new systems and technologies to improve processes.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Head of Accounts Payable should have:
Proven experience within accounts payable and a strong understanding of accounting principles.
Leadership abilities to effectively manage and motivate a team.
Proficiency in financial software and systems relevant to the healthcare industry.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
