Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious graduate or early-career landscape designer to join Tobermore’s growing design services team. The successful candidate will work on visualisations, domestic landscape designs, and technical drawing production, supporting a wide range of customers, from homeowners to commercial clients.
The role includes dedicated mentorship and training with an external Landscape Architecture Practice, ensuring professional development in industry-standard software, commercial regulations, and best practices. Over time, the role will evolve to include amendments to commercial landscape proposals, working alongside our external team to expand Tobermore’s in-house expertise.

Responsibilities
About The Role
The following list outlines the key tasks and duties of this role, which will be used to assess your performance. Tasks are listed without specific priority or sequence.
Duties Will Include
* Design & Visualisation:
o Create high-quality 3D visualisations and concept layouts for residential and commercial projects.
o Develop landscape designs ensuring practicality, aesthetics, and alignment with Tobermore’s products.
o Produce technical drawings and material specifications.
* Collaboration & Training:
o Work with marketing, sales, and technical teams to support customer engagements.
o Train with an external Landscape Architecture Practice to develop expertise in software, regulations, and industry practices.
o Learn about hard landscaping standards, accessibility, and sustainability principles.
o Assist in refining commercial hard landscape proposals.
* Customer Engagement & Site Visits:
o Participate in joint call days with the B2B sales team to understand customer needs and present designs.
o Attend site visits to understand project challenges.
o Engage with customers to provide technical support.
o Represent Tobermore at industry events when required.
* Process & Project Management:
o Support the implementation of a structured design service.
o Maintain records of projects and interactions.
o Contribute to workflow improvements and resource development.

Desired Criteria
* Postgraduate diploma in a landscape-related discipline
* Experience in manufacturing or construction industry
* Full valid driving license
Required Criteria
* Degree in Landscape Architecture
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, GIS, and ideally Vectorworks
* Design eye, understanding of materials, and passion for outdoor spaces
* Ability to interpret technical drawings or willingness to learn
* Understanding of LVIA
* Excellent communication skills
* Organised, proactive, eager to develop skills
