Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. Duties
* Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support individuals in daily living activities, including meal preparation and feeding.
* Implement and monitor care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing staff.
* Engage residents in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
* Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to foster a supportive atmosphere.
* Drive residents to appointments or social outings as required.
Experience
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not essential.
* A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting residents.
* Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with residents and colleagues.
* Basic IT skills are beneficial for maintaining records and using care management software.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with residents and their families are essential.
