Full Time
Paid to scale (M1 – M6) through PAYE
The Role
* Teach English across KS3 and KS4
* Deliver engaging lessons that follow a broad and balanced curriculum
* Adapt teaching to meet a range of abilities and learning needs
* Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear feedback
* Maintain a calm, focused and purposeful classroom environment
* Work collaboratively with the English department to support curriculum development
* Build strong relationships with students, staff and families
This role is about more than delivering content. It’s about fostering a love of reading, encouraging critical thinking, and giving students the confidence to express themselves.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
