Sales Development Representative Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, plus circa £10,000 commission Location: Sunderland My client is a rapidly growing SaaS organisation offering a market leading solution designed to enhance training, build skills and ensure compliance for clients across the globe. Underpinned by significant investment, there is a clear roadmap for business transformation, which will translate into aggressive growth over the next 2 years, as they continue to commercialise their offering at pace. The Sales Development Representative role is a key appointment in helping them to achieve their goals, and in return they will provide a platform for continued development, with a clear roadmap to becoming a Business Development Manager withing 9-12 months. You will also have exposure to coaching and developing a junior SDR. The Role * Collaborate with Marketing & Internal Sales to identify target accounts for prospecting * Work closely with Internal Sales Managers in the team, with the opportunity to shadow and learn to progress your career. * Cold calling, relationship building, follow up through e-mails, product demonstrations, proposals, sales negotiations and execution of contracts * Consultatively build relationships with prospects * Uncover prospect’s business challenges and identify relevant new business opportunities * Efficiently and effectively process assigned opportunities into new business sales * Manage your own pipeline and all work activities, maintaining accurate information and up-to-date forecasts on all prospects * Research and build new and existing prospect accounts (i.e. adding contacts, sending regular emails, appointment setting) * Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets to secure new business meetings The Person * 2 years of experience in a B2B sales with full product training provided * Ability to develop trust and relationships with prospects, customers and colleagues * Previous experience of having sold a software solution to a B2B audience * Experience of using a consultative, solution-based sales methodology * An individual with a proven track record as an SDR, who has exposure to coaching and developing a more junior member of staff * A passion for sales, you will be looking to move into a full 360 Business Development role in the future * Ability to develop trust and relationships with prospects, customers, and colleagues * Excellent telephone, online and face to face presentation skills This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious organisation at an exciting stage in its journey, with genuine opportunities for career development.
