The school provides specialist education for children aged 2–11 years with a wide range of additional needs, including:

Challenging behaviour
Learning disabilities
Pupils whose needs cannot be met within a mainstream settingThe school’s vision is to deliver an inclusive education that inspires pupils to succeed by working, learning, and achieving together. ✨ About the Role
You will support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping to deliver engaging activities, promote independence, and act as a positive role model within the school community.
✅ We’re looking for someone who:
âś” Has hands-on experience supporting children with additional needs
âś” Is confident working with small groups and on a one-to-one basis
âś” Can fully immerse themselves in school life
âś” Holds a minimum Level 2 Childcare or Teaching Assistant qualification
âś” Has UK-based experience and can provide two references covering the past two years
đź”’ Safeguarding & Compliance
Interviews will take place in the first week of January, with full safeguarding and compliance checks completed. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is required, or a willingness to apply for a new DBS through Smile Education.
