Salary: Grade F - Starting Salary is £32,597 (Level one) rising to £35,412 (Level four)
Location: Harvey Road (NG8 3BB) will be the contracted base for this role, but the postholder will be expected to be able to travel to other offices including Loxley House (NG2 3NG) and work sites, as needed.

About the Role
Join Nottingham City Council Housing Services as an Energy Project Liaison Officer within our Sustainable Energy Team, where youll play a key role in supporting residents through energy improvement projects. Acting as a trusted first point of contact, youll provide clear, accessible information, coordinate enquiries, and ensure customers feel informed and supported throughout project delivery.
Youll work closely with tenants, leaseholders, contractors and internal teams; attending events, leading consultations, and carrying out site visits, to ensure voices are heard and concerns are resolved quickly and fairly. The role involves investigating enquiries, managing access and refusals and contributing to continuous service improvement through data, reporting, and feedback analysis.
Youll also monitor contractor liaison performance, coordinate project communications, and help shape inclusive engagement practices. This is a varied, people-focused role suited to someone who is organised, empathetic, and confident working with diverse communities. About You
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Experience of working in a pressurised environment, demonstrating the ability to use initiative and manage competing priorities.
2. Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage workload effectively.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
4. The ability to analyse information and use IT systems (including Microsoft Office) to produce clear, concise reports and support decision-making
5. Experience or ability to contribute to service improvement and deliver high-quality, customer-focused outcomes.
6. A flexible and proactive approach, with a willingness to support tenants, leaseholders and services to achieve positive outcomes.
