Are you enthusiastic and ambitious and interested in becoming a Chemical Process Technician whilst working towards a HNC, learning on the job and earning a salary?\nBased at our plant in Livingston, our Modern Apprenticeship programme delivers this exciting way for you to gain valuable industry experience that will set you apart from your peers.\n\nYou will spend year 1 of your 4-year Modern Apprenticeship mostly at college. The remaining years are based at our plant, where you'll be assigned to a working team and attend college on day release. This gives you hands-on, competency-based skills training as you work towards completing your studies. By the end of the apprenticeship, you'll have achieved qualifications in Process Engineering, and earned valuable experience along the way. \n SEH Europe supports the semiconductor market with 150mm & 200mm, Polished Wafer & Epitaxial Wafer manufacturing at its bespoke manufacturing facility located in Livingston, Scotland. SEH is the worldâs largest semiconductor silicon wafer supplier with manufacturing sites in Japan, Malaysia, USA, Scotland and Taiwan.\nThe Plant Service Engineering (PSE) team keep the plant running 24/7 365 days a week and are pivotal to our manufacturing function at our Livingston plant. As part of the team, you will learn about the provision, operation, maintenance and repair of all utilities processes and gas services that are both reliable and safe.\n Education requirements: to apply, you are must have achieved:\nâ¢\tTwo Highers at grade C or above one of which must be Chemistry and \nâ¢\tFour National 5 awards (or equivalent) which must include Maths and English\n\nWe are looking for highly motivated individuals with a passion for Chemical Engineering. A desire to learn and a self determination to find solutions to problems, alongside strong analytical and problem solving skills are essential for success in this role. The ability to make rational judgements based on relevant information and work effectively within a team are also key qualities.\n
