Pay rate: £14


Shift Pattern: 9am-4pm




Requirements:


Unfortunately, we cannot provide VISA sponsorship and we do not hire on a relocation basis. You must currently be based in/around the Norwich area and able to commute.


We've got a rewarding opportunity for the right person to work with an individual living in Norwich. This role will be supporting an individual who lives with bipolar disorder and autism. He has a love of sports and spends his spare time painting, riding bikes, and doing puzzles amongst many other interests. If you are resilient, reliable, empathetic, and looking for a role that truly makes a difference to someone else's life, then we want to hear from you.




Key Responsibilities:


* Support Workers cover all manners of support for others - from companionship and days out, to personal care and housekeeping.
* Support with all facets of daily living.
* Foster a supportive and inclusive environment.
* Ensure the individual's safety and well-being at all times.
* Communicate effectively with the individual and other team members.
* Maintain confidentiality and respect privacy.
* Adhere to care plans and guidelines provided.
* Aid with light household chores which may include cooking and cleaning.




Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:


* Ability to effectively communicate with individuals requiring care.
* Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
* Empathy, patience, and compassion when interacting with individuals in need of support.
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet varying care needs.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Willingness to undergo additional training and development as required.
