Graduate Trainee Overview
As a graduate trainee, you will embark on a three‑year training contract that includes structured learning and real‑world audit experience. Year 1 focuses on foundational skills and client exposure.
Key Responsibilities
* Master the art of auditing: Prepare meticulous audit documents using the latest software and methodologies.
* Financial statements: Develop a deep understanding of balance sheets, income statements and cash flows.
* Work side by side with clients: Immerse yourself in the business world by working directly with a variety of diverse companies to understand their operations, challenges and unique circumstances.
* Build relationships: Connect with key stakeholders both with our clients and internally across service lines to gather relevant information and build strong professional relationships.
Years 2 and 3: As you progress, you will take on increasingly complex audit work such as revenue recognition, valuation and risk assessments. You will also take ownership of audit engagements by leading their delivery, mentor new and junior team members, helping them to settle in and flourish. You are joining us as a permanent employee, so the three years are only the beginning of your exceptional career journey at Forvis Mazars.
Qualifications
* On track to or have obtained an undergraduate degree.
* Strong academic performance, with a holistic view of achievements and other developmental experiences.
