Job Title: Childcare Trainer / Assessor
Location: Greater Manchester
Type - Temporary - Full Time
Rate: £20 - £30 per hour
Eden Brown are seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Trainer Assessor for a Further Education College in Greater Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the development of future professionals in the residential childcare sector.
This is a full time temporary role to start asap for sickness cover of up to 3 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and assess qualifications in Residential Childcare
- Support learners through their training journey, ensuring timely achievement of qualifications
- Provide engaging, high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across a range of childcare programmes
- Maintain accurate learner records and provide regular progress reports
- Ensure compliance with awarding body and college quality assurance processes
Essential Requirements:
- Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare Level 5 qualification
- Assessor qualification (e.g. TAQA, A1, D32/33 or equivalent)
- Maths and English at Level 2 (GCSE A*-C or equivalent)
- Demonstrable occupational competence and relevant experience in the childcare/residential childcare sector
- Passion for teaching, learning and supporting learners to achieve their potential
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Desirable:
- Experience of working in a further education or training environment
- Knowledge of safeguarding and Prevent duty in an education setting
