Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chard for a Lead Software Engineer. The Lead Software Engineer will oversee the full software development lifecycle, design and implement scalable backend solutions, and ensure code quality leveraging Object-Oriented Programming principles. Responsibilities include mentoring junior developers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the development of high-performance bespoke software, AI-driven solutions, and integrated systems.
Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and system design
* Expertise in Back-End Web Development, including experience with scalable web application architectures
* Proven experience in Software Development and Programming, with proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks
* Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and ability to apply design patterns effectively
* Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and mentor junior developers
* Experience with cloud platforms, version control systems, unit testing, and agile development methodologies
* Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on delivering high-quality, maintainable solutions
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
