Role: Maths Teacher

Contract: Full time, permanent, term-time only
Salary: £30,000 - £42,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)
Long-Term Teachers are proud to be working with an exceptional SEMH provision in Paignton to recruit a dedicated and resilient Maths Teacher to join their team from September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive, specialist setting catering to students aged 7 - 18 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You’ll play a key role in shaping personalised learning journeys that focus not just on academic outcomes but also on building self-esteem, resilience and independence.
About The Role:
* Deliver Maths lessons tailored to meet the unique learning needs of small groups
* Create engaging content that supports academic progress and personal growth
* Use trauma-informed and positive behaviour strategies to support student engagement
* Contribute to a nurturing environment where every student can feel safe and supported
* Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a curriculum that is both creative and flexible
Ideal Candidate:
* Holds QTS, QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification (e.g PGCE)
* Experience itching Maths across KS2 - KS4 (KS5 is a bonus)
* Skilled in behaviour management and understanding of SEMH or SEND needs
* Passionate about inclusive, student-centred education
* Confident in using assessment tools to track both academic and personal progress
