About the role Join Tarmac as an HR Analyst! Here at Tarmac, we have a brand new opportunity available for an HR Analyst to join the team on a fixed-term basis. Position Overview:As our HR Analyst, you will be ensuring the effective delivery of relevant application services by leveraging specialist knowledge. You will be able to translate business requirements into functional specifications and effective, efficient and compliant business solutions. This role will be working on a business change project for our HR system. You will possess sound business process knowledge in the HR systems field and provide both specialist application and solution support for specific elements of the applications estate. Role Responsibility In this role, you will: Work as a Subject Matter Expert for a relevant defined application and functional scope on business projects in line with business strategy Grasp user requirements and solution options Own enhancements and project tasks; translating functional requirements into solution design, build, test (co-ordinating UAT) and deployment Working on the agreed projects and changes within the agreed time limits Building solutions that comply right first time by design; possesses basic understanding of GDPR, SOx and GISP Providing expert second-line support to IT users in line with agreed SLAs Investigating incidents and identifying and mobilising resources required to aid resolution and escalating SLA breaches Acting as a Subject Matter Expert in the Change Management process Working on vendor liaison to support service delivery to agreed SLAs Supporting the incident root cause analysis process and initiating problem management Supports continuous process improvementThe Ideal Candidate Essential Skills Be an effective communicator in both technical and non-technical terms Be an innovative thinker Adept at defining and building system solutions from business requirementsDesirable Skills: Strong problem analysis and solving skills Skilled at producing high quality documentation Process orientation - capable of quality process mappingExperience and Education: Educated to degree standard or able to demonstrate appropriate significant and relevant experience in a similar role
