Overview
Location: Colchester and surrounding area
We are seeking an Electronic Monitoring Field Officer to join our Electronic Monitoring Service. You will work to support individuals in the community, help reassure them of their safety, and contribute to reducing pressure on the prison system by helping ex-prisoners re-integrate into their communities.
Responsibilities
* Visit individuals in their homes to install tagging equipment, either alone or with a Monitoring Support Officer.
* Build trust with individuals and communicate effectively about safety and the justice system.
* Support community safety and contribute to public protection.
* Complete tasks in line with rota schedules, including day, weekend, and bank holiday shifts; average 37.5 hours per week with a rolling rota.
* Participate in 2 weeks of initial training and receive mentorship on the road until comfortable in the role.
What you need to do the job

* A current valid UK driver’s license
* Reasonable fitness
* Good written and verbal communication skills for building relationships with individuals

* Base Salary of £26,031 per annum
