We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Company Accountant to join our client's dynamic accounts department in Grays, Essex.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to lead the accounting function within a busy dealer environment, providing vital financial insights to support company growth and expansion. The successful Accountant will manage a small team, oversee key financial processes, and contribute to strategic planning.
Benefits of this position include a competitive basic salary of £55,000 per annum with a potential On Target Earnings of up to £65,000. Please note, this position does not include a company car. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm, ensuring a stable work-life balance.

Duties of the Company Accountant:
8. Prepare and present monthly management accounts
9. Assist with budget forecasting and data analysis
10. Manage company cash flow and financial operations
11. Lead and develop a team of accounts professionals
12. Liaise with auditors and ensure compliance with financial standards
13. Utilise DMS systems including Reynolds & Reynolds and Kalamazoo to manage financial data
14. Support senior leadership with company growth and expansion plans
Requirements for the Company Accountant role:
15. ACCA or CIMI qualified
16. Main dealer experience within an accounting role
17. Proven experience with Keyloop and Kalamazoo systems
18. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team
19. Excellent analytical and communication skills
20. Demonstrated ability to assist with company growth strategies
