Duties as a Reception Year Teacher:
* Deliver engaging, high-quality teaching based on the EYFS framework
* Create a safe, stimulating classroom that supports learning through play and exploration
* Observe, assess and record children’s development accurately
* Foster strong relationships with children, families and colleagues
* Support pupils’ personal, social and emotional growth
* Collaborate with the EYFS team to deliver a broad, balanced and child-centred curriculum
* Maintain a warm and inclusive environment where every child feels valued
Ideal Reception Year Teacher:
* A qualified teacher (QTS) with EYFS experience or a strong understanding of early childhood education
* Someone who is energetic, creative and compassionate
* A strong communicator who works well in a team as a Reception Year Teacher.
* A reflective practitioner with high expectations for every child
* Someone who is passionate about building solid foundations for lifelong learning
