Our client seeks a Construction Project Assistant to support their construction site and project teams. This role would suit someone with a construction background who is keen to grow their construction career or develop in project management. Full training and support will be provided. As a Project Assistant, you’ll work closely with our construction site and office teams to support the smooth running of day-to-day operations. You’ll be involved in a bit of everything – from helping with paperwork and scheduling to liaising with suppliers and learning how projects are delivered from the ground up including being on site. Main Duties Assist with general administrative tasks to support the project and site management teams Help keep project documents and records up to date and well-organised Support in coordinating deliveries, bookings, and meetings Learn how to maintain compliance with construction standards like PAS 91 and ISO 9001 Assist in compiling reports and project progress updates Help manage files related to health & safety, suppliers, and subcontractors Be a friendly point of contact for all incoming enquiries and team members Skills and Knowledge Previous experience within construction Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Good written and verbal communication Willingness to learn and get stuck in Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Interest in construction, project management, or property development Positive, proactive attitude – no task too small Full UK Driving Licence Salary and Benefits £35K salary Company Pension Free onsite parking Exposure to diverse construction projects, both residential and commercial Potential for progression Supportive team environment
