Location: West DraytonStart Date: ASAP Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm About the School Axcis Education is working in partnership with a welcoming, well-resourced primary school located near West Drayton Station. The school prides itself on being supportive, inclusive, and committed to helping every child thrive. The Role This is a full-time, long-term position within the school’s Special Resourced Provision (SRP), supporting a small group of up to 10 KS2 pupils with additional needs. Primary needs supported include: -Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) -Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) -Behavioural challenges Some pupils may experience emotional dysregulation, including verbal outbursts or inappropriate language. The successful candidate will demonstrate patience, professionalism, and consistency, using a calm and confident approach alongside positive behaviour strategies. Key Responsibilities -Provide tailored support to KS2 pupils with SEMH and ASD -Implement behaviour management strategies, including de-escalation and positive reinforcement -Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SEND team -Maintain a structured, safe, and nurturing learning environment -Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development The Ideal Candidate Will Have -Experience supporting KS2 pupils with ASD, SEMH, or challenging behaviour -A confident, proactive, and resilient approach -Strong behaviour management skills -Excellent communication and teamwork abilities -An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) -Team-Teach training (highly desirable)
