Teacher of Science (Permanent)
Secondary School – Redbridge

Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: MPS/UPS (Outer London), dependent on experience
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to join our successful and supportive Science department at a thriving secondary school in the London Borough of Redbridge.
This role is suitable for an ECT or an experienced practitioner who is passionate about delivering high-quality science education and inspiring curiosity in young people.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
* Teach Science across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities available for suitable candidates)
* Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and well-structured lessons
* Use assessment effectively to support progress and raise attainment
* Contribute positively to the Science department and wider school community
* Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential
The Ideal Candidate Will
* Hold QTS (or be on track to achieve it)
* Have strong subject knowledge in at least one Science specialism (Biology, Chemistry or Physics)
* Be passionate about Science and committed to high expectations
* Be reflective, organised, and keen to develop professionally
* Work collaboratively as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
