A vibrant and high-achieving mainstream secondary school in Swanage is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and fully qualified Science Teacher to join their dynamic department from September 2025.
The successful candidate will have a strong subject knowledge in Science, the ability to teach engaging and inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, and a passion for helping students achieve their full potential. You will be joining a supportive and forward-thinking team, committed to fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning in Science.
The role:
Planning and delivering high-quality Science lessons in line with the national curriculum
Assessing, tracking, and monitoring student progress
Contributing to the development of the Science curriculum and departmental resources
Participating in whole-school initiatives, enrichment activities, and events
The ideal candidate will:
Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
Have experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 (specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics welcomed)
Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills
Be committed to continuous professional development and collaborative working
