A day in the life of…
As Sales Manager, you will develop a commercial plan that aligns with the business objectives and outlines strategies to support the hotel's positioning. You will collaborate with the hotel General Manager, Sales Effectiveness Director, and Revenue team to continuously align and devise strategies to retain and grow the business. Utilizing this intelligence, you will formulate strategic plans to ensure the hotel remains competitive in the marketplace.
Based in the Holiday Inn Southend, you will be part of a small but passionate team who understand that being the best doesn’t always mean working around the clock. Located next to London Southend Airport, Holiday Inn Southend boasts 129 modern bedrooms, conference & events facilities, and '1935', our rooftop restaurant and bar.
What do we need from you?
To succeed in this role, you should have experience as a Sales Manager, preferably within the hospitality industry. You will be the commercial expert for this hotel, capable of discussing business performance and making informed decisions at a senior level. This is a highly collaborative role, working closely with the senior management team on-site and upskilling the team to maximize revenue at every opportunity.
