Position Overview
This advert is for a full‑time (37.5 hours) Band 6 Gynaecology Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist. Working hours are Monday–Friday during office hours and will be a cross‑site role. We support patients and their families, through out their cancer journey, starting at the point of referral as a suspected cancer, right through to cancer diagnosis and additional treatments. Treatments can include preparation for surgery, surgery and recovery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The Gynaecology Clinical Nurse Specialists and wider team will provide guidance and support for the successful candidate and work closely together to implement this. The successful candidate will receive a full induction and supernumerary period.
Qualifications
Gynaecology or Oncology nursing experience at band 6 would be preferable. You will need to be flexible, reliable and patient focused.
