Our successful candidate will be required to provide a full administrative service within the academy and provide assistance to students where appropriate. This includes undertaking a diverse range of administrative duties to ensure well-presented and accurate correspondence, reports, and other documentation as directed by the Senior Leadership Team and Office Manager. You will need a keen eye for detail to excel in this aspect of the role. Other duties to be carried out by our appointed candidate include answering internal and external calls for the Academy, dealing effectively and professionally with callers at all levels, and processing messages to staff and students via voicemail, written communication, email, or by personally delivering urgent messages. Therefore, candidates need to be organised and hardworking as this is a busy role within a thriving academy! You must be able to adapt to change, multi-task, and uphold a professional manner at all times. To perform well in this role, you will need to be professional, personable, and committed to providing an excellent service on behalf of Ebbsfleet Academy. Our administrator will also be first aid trained and willing to carry out first aid duties. Above all else, our administrator will have a positive work ethic and can-do attitude. This role is permanent and offers an actual salary of 20,347 - 20,990 per annum ( 23,656 - 24,404 full-time equivalent), based on working 37 hours per week, term time 1 week of inset. The working hours of the role will be 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8:00 am - 3:30 pm on a Friday.
