£36,000 – £40,000 + 5% bonus
Joining our Melt Shop team as a Mechanical Technician, you will be an integral part of the Mechanical Engineering team. Your main responsibilities will include: ensuring that all maintenance activities are being executed to a high standard, inspecting equipment to detect any faults and providing support to our Craft teams. Because of our demanding manufacturing process, you’ll have the opportunity to get stuck into finding innovative solutions.
The industry you come from is not important to us. We look for people who are passionate about engineering and constantly look for ways to improve. You could be somebody that has a qualification (HNC/NVQ/Degree) and some hands-on experience, or you could have a solid background in a hands-on role and now want to step into an experienced Engineering team.
You need a minimum of NVQ L3 in Mechanical Engineering to be considered for the role.
