🚛 Waste Operative Wanted – Oldham 📍
Tudor Employment Agency is on the lookout for a dedicated Waste Operative to join our client’s team based in Oldham. This role involves safely managing waste operations under onsite procedures, in line with GSK’s guidelines 🧪♻️.
🕚 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 11am – 9pm
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
1. 🗑️ Routine collection and disposal of site waste
2. 🚜 Safe operation of forklift, pallet rider, van & mobile plant
3. 🧹 Maintain tidy workspaces and safe waste storage
4. 📦 Assist with segregation, packaging & labelling of waste
5. 🚚 Support removal of waste to reduce stock build-up
6. 🦺 Monitor safety and ensure team compliance
7. ✅ Complete daily vehicle & equipment checks
8. 📞 Liaise with supervisors on operations & safety
9. ⚠️ Contribute to behavioural safety & near-miss reporting
10. 🧽 Help with general housekeeping tasks
11. 📝 Sign duty of care & hazardous waste consignment notes
12. 🤝 Support teammates when needed
13. 🌍 Provide operational support across GSK sites in Hertfordshire & Essex
🛠️ Key Skills & Qualifications:
14. ✅ Valid Forklift Licence
15. 🚗 Full UK Driving Licence
16. 💡 Ability to work independently & use initiative
