This role calls for a strategic thinker with strong communication skills and ideally some familiarity with the creative or marketing sectors.\n\nIn a fast-moving, collaborative environment, you will take ownership of crafting persuasive bids and proposals, managing deadlines, and ensuring all submissions are of the highest standard. Working closely with teams across the business, you will shape responses that address client needs while aligning with the company's objectives.\n\nKey Responsibilities for the Bid Manager \n\nEnd-to-End Bid Management: Lead the full bid lifecycle from qualification through to submission and post-bid feedback.\nStrategy Development: Build and deliver effective bid strategies that reflect the company's offering, address client requirements, and respond to market dynamics.\nCross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside different departments to gather information and ensure bids reflect a joined-up company approach.\nContent Creation: Write, refine, and proofread clear, engaging content for proposals, tailoring messages to specific clients, sectors, and opportunities.\nTimeline & Resource Coordination: Oversee bid schedules, ensuring proposals are delivered on time and to a high standard.\nMarket Insight: Keep up to date with the company's service developments and market trends to inform your approach to bids.\nProcess Improvement: Contribute to maintaining and enhancing a content library and bid processes to support continuous improvement.\nReporting: Track and report on bid activity, outcomes, and resource allocation.Skills & Experience Required for the Bid Manager \n\nDemonstrated experience managing bids, ideally within creative, marketing, or other fast-paced commercial environments.\nGood knowledge of procurement processes across public and private sectors.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and compelling documents.\nStrong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple deadlines simultaneously.\nConfident working with and motivating cross-functional teams.\nFamiliarity with marketing tools, digital strategies, or the application of AI within bid processes is beneficial.\nSolid project management and organisational skills.
