Joining the Cleaning Account Manager role at Sentrex. Sentrex Services UK Ltd is a multi million pound rapidly expanding Contract Cleaning and Facility Management Company. Sentrex was founded in 2009 and our Directors & Managers have over 30 years combined experience in the industry. Sentrex provides a wide variety of services to commercial businesses across industries including Food Hygiene, Warehouse & Distribution, Education & Financial Services.
Position: Cleaning Account Manager
Location: CW1 area (Liverpool area serving ~40 clients); hybrid/field role with a company branded vehicle, mobile phone and tablet provided
Role and responsibilities
* Manage and oversee the daily operations of the business with a focus on Daily Office Cleaning Services
* Plan, organise and control contract operations and delivery within the portfolio
* Lead, develop, manage and motivate a team of cleaning operatives to the agreed standards; coach and develop operatives to improve skills
* Ensure adherence to company policies and site specifications; ensure delivery through operatives
* Manage holidays and rotas to cover operational needs and maintain service delivery
* Handle HR and employee relations in line with Company HR policies and conduct grievance, disciplinary and appeal hearings where appropriate
* Identify opportunities for new business and non-contractual work; support business development to identify opportunities with other clients
* Ensure client queries are dealt with promptly to maintain client satisfaction
* Recruit, motivate and train staff (induction and ongoing)
* Ensure operatives are trained on and using the Time & Attendance system
* Be commercially minded; identify areas for improvement in productivity and hours allocation
* Manage agreed KPI requirements and monthly cleaning audits with clients or client representatives
* Represent the client professionally at all times; lead by example and demonstrate company values
* Budget management and ensuring sites operate within budgets (labour, chemicals, uniforms)
* Drive continuous improvement in service performance, innovation and productivity
Requirements and qualifications
* Experience: Cleaning Account Manager, 3 years (required)
* Team Leading: 3 years (required)
* Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (required)
* Work location: Hybrid remote in CW1; full-time
