Team Leader – Fresh Department
As a Team Leader, you'll play a key role in leading the day-to‑day running of your department. You’ll deliver excellent availability for our customers across Chilled, Meat, Produce, and Bakery, maintain a First In First Out rotation for Fresh stock, keep the department food‑safety compliant, manage rota and support wider leadership in store. You’ll lead by example, supporting your colleagues, keeping operations smooth and ensuring our customers receive the best possible service. Whether it's helping manage stock, supporting new starters, or solving on‑floor problems, you'll be a go‑to person on the shop floor, working closely with your manager to deliver high standards, keep your team motivated and focused.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver excellent availability across Chilled, Meat, Produce, and Bakery.
* Maintain ‘First In First Out’ principles for Fresh stock rotation.
* Ensure the Fresh department is compliant with Food Safety regulations.
* Manage rota and shift scheduling.
* Support wider leadership in store operations.
* Lead by example, supporting colleagues and keeping operations running smoothly.
* Assist with stock management, help new starters, and resolve on‑floor issues.
* Collaborate closely with your manager to uphold high standards and motivate the team.
