Due to their success, they are seeking a lifting equipment engineer to join one of their sites near Bridgwater.
Responsibilities
* Carry out all repairs and inspections and LOLER/PUWER examinations on a range of lifting gear including shackles, winches, hoists and gantries, within a workshop environment.
* Perform work on plant equipment such as diggers, dumpers, rollers and a large fleet of MEWPs.
* Attend a customer’s site within the South West, provided by a company van.
* Act as the customer’s point of contact by email and phone for technical support as the Lifting Engineer.
* Complete scheduled repair works, both minor and major.
* Maintain a professional image at all times to represent the company as the Lifting Engineer.
Qualifications
* Previous experience working as an LEEA inspector, Lifting Engineer, Lifting Equipment Engineer, LOLER inspector, Engineer Surveyor or Plant Engineer, with experience repairing and inspecting a range of lifting equipment.
* Hold an LEEA qualification (or equivalent) and an NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in mechanics or engineering.
