Location: Canterbury, Kent
Salary: £120 - £250 per day (depending on experience)
Start date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, Maternity Cover

This full-time maternity cover position is available for an immediate start. The appointed KS2 Teacher will take the lead of a Key Stage 2 class, delivering high-impact lessons and managing all planning and assessment duties for the duration of the placement.

Your Role & Responsibilities
In your capacity as a KS2 Teacher, you will:
* Design and deliver creative, high-quality lessons tailored to a diverse range of Key Stage 2 needs.
* Manage all marking, formal assessments, and the tracking of pupil data.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and well-organized classroom culture.
* Collaborate effectively with support staff and year-group peers.
* Maintain strict adherence to school safeguarding and behavioral policies.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this KS2 Teacher position, you must:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Have a proven track record of teaching Key Stage 2 within a UK primary setting.
* Show a sincere passion for sparking a lifelong love of learning in your students.
* Possess the right to work in the UK and satisfy GSL’s safer recruitment checks.
* Have a Child Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
