As Creed Conventions continues to grow, we are now looking for a part-time Event Manager to join the team, helping to deliver high-quality events, ensuring smooth on-the-ground operations, and maintaining the highest standards.
Role Description
We’re seeking a confident and experienced Event Planning Assistant to oversee logistical arrangements. This is a practical, hands-on role requiring some weekend availability and the ability to work under pressure.
You will work with one Director, a part-time Event Organizer, and volunteers. It is desirable that you live within a commutable distance from Milton Keynes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Assisting with administrative tasks such as scheduling, supplier communication, and managing live issues during events.
* Overseeing logistical arrangements and administration.
* Coordinating with venues, staffing, and volunteers.
* Managing live events, including managing people, clients, and exhibitors.
Minimum requirements include:
* At least 1 year of experience in live events, exhibitions, or conventions.
* Driving license required.
* Ability to work under pressure and solve problems in real time.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with Google Drive and Photoshop; CRM experience is desirable.
* Availability to work weekdays and some weekends as needed.
