An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Plumbing and Gas Contracts Manager to join one of the leading suppliers of Reactive and Planned Maintenance services in the South East. Suitable candidates will need to demonstrate substantial experience in servicing and managing Plumbing & Gas contracts ranging from small maintenance contracts to large install projects in the retail and leisure sectors. The role is 80% office based with the remaining 20% being spent on site and visiting clients. You will be managing a team of qualified plumbers and gas engineers including performing site audits of said engineers quality of work. Working closely with the allocations team you will be responsible for the allocation and management of reactive, quoted and planned maintenance works on a daily basis. As technical lead, your team of engineers will be looking to you for advice and support with technical issues, both in and out of hours, so strong interpersonal & communication skills are required. By using information gathered by engineers visiting sites you will be required to compile costs and quotations for works that exceed the initial order value so a good working knowledge of MS Office is essential. We cover all aspects of Fabric Maintenance and you will be required to work closely with both the general building and electrical contract managers and project teams to price and co-ordinate labour and materials for jobs and to ensure the smooth running of works through to completion. It is essential that you hold the following certification/licenses - City & Guilds Level 3, CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1, Unvented G3. It would also be advantageous if you have some commercial gas and LPG experience. As you are expected to travel to and from sites a clean driving license is essential for insurance purposes
