Overview

Responsibilities
* Support the Performance Sport and broader UoM Sport strategic objectives that aim to deliver high‑quality sport and physical activity experiences for everyone at every level.
* Assist the Sport Coordinator (Representative Sport) in the organisation and administration of sports clubs and individuals, ensuring effective support and programme provisions in the areas of weekly fixtures, events, travel, officials, training, health and safety and equipment.
* Coordinate the year‑round representative sport programme, organising trials, training, inter‑university competition and sports coach recruitment.
* Collaborate with various individuals and teams across the UoM Sport department and manage multiple stakeholders and partners simultaneously.
* Build effective relationships with stakeholders and demonstrate strong sports club administration and organising sports activities skills.
* Work predominantly from an office but with the possibility of some hybrid working arrangements in agreement with line manager.
Qualifications
* Significant experience of competition administration in sport in the UK, ideally within a higher education sports environment.
* Competence in using IT, specifically M365 apps and software.
* Ability to work within budget parameters and maintain effective record keeping.
* Strong prioritisation skills to meet agreed objectives.
* Enthusiastic and engaging individual with a strong understanding of sports club administration and organising sports activities.
* Right to work in the UK – candidates must demonstrate eligibility.
