Our team plays a key role in achieving Plan Zero. This role, within OVO’s Energy Business Line, reports to the Senior Pricing Manager in the Energy Economics Team. It is a senior position responsible for delivering analytical outputs that support OVO’s growth and strategic planning.
This role in a nutshell:
You will be part of a team of 3 analysts managing pricing for approximately 4 million customers in a competitive, regulated, and volatile market. Your work will impact OVO’s commercial performance and strategy by optimizing pricing and value.
Your key outcomes will be:
* Develop models to hypothesize customer behaviors and optimize prices, including competitor analysis
* Test hypotheses on customer behaviors and market dynamics
* Manage price assumptions across sales channels
* Support market planning with KPIs
* Make day-to-day market decisions on pricing within principles
* Collaborate on pricing changes and tariff launches
* Innovate pricing approaches with teams
* Create models to assess new tariffs and propositions against business goals
* Build relationships with stakeholders to communicate risks and opportunities
Systems:
* Experience with data analysis in Python or R
* Experience with visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI

What’s in it for you:
