We are looking to appoint a Public Health Specialist to join our talented sexual health team who will help to oversee the effective delivery of a £16.8m portfolio of sexual health services and working to improve health outcomes and tackle health inequalities for more than 1.6 million people living and working in Kent.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the effective delivery of the £16.8m sexual health services portfolio, working to improve health outcomes and tackle health inequalities for more than 1.6 million people in Kent.
* Develop, support, monitor and review a number of pieces of work across public health, with a focus on sexual health, while contributing to district‑level working and health protection efforts.
* Use data to inform policy and programmes, and maintain high standards of written and oral communication while working across systems to drive impact on sexual health outcomes and equity.
Qualifications
* Suitably qualified, with a proven track record in delivering public health projects and programmes to a high standard.
* Public health qualification, project management skills and experience working in a multidisciplinary team.
* Ability to prioritise competing demands and objectives with diplomacy and a working knowledge of all areas of public health.
