Service Contracts Manager Electromechanical / Tooling Sector Location: Remote with site travel North West & Northern UK | Occasional Head Office travel (West Midlands) Salary: £40,000 £50,000 Company Car Bonus Paid Overtime We are recruiting on behalf of a globally recognised and respected engineering brand. The company is seeking a Service Contracts Manager to lead on-site service delivery teams across key customer sites in the Northwest, North and Midlands of the UK. This role is vital in delivering exceptional service standards, driving operational improvement, and unlocking further business opportunities through consultative client engagement. Why Apply? The Role : As Service Contracts Manager, you will take ownership of the operational delivery of service contracts across a wide customer base. Acting as the main point of contact for on-site service activity, you will work closely with both the service delivery and commercial teams to ensure contracts are delivered efficiently, KPIs are met, and value-added services are clearly communicated and expanded. Key Responsibilities: Implement and monitor operational processes and procedures across customer sites. Take the lead in customer interactions, acting as the primary contact for service delivery matters. Track and analyse KPIs to identify areas for performance improvement and cost control. Drive 5S and best practices across all contracted sites. Prepare and deliver value-add reports to demonstrate Return on Investments and service quality. Identify and communicate selling opportunities to the sales team. Contribute to contract negotiations, renewals, and service enhancement proposals. Manage parts usage with internal customer support teams. Train and support engineers working on each service contract. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: A hands-on, technical background in electromechanical systems ideally having come off the tools. Previous experience working with hand tools or specialist tooling equipment. Strong knowledge and experience of 5S principles and continuous improvement on-site. Excellent interpersonal skills and an approach to customer-facing service delivery. Experience of contractual agreements, supporting discussions around contract improvements, renewals, and opportunities. Analytical in KPI tracking, report writing, and performance evaluation. A background in automotive, specialised manufacturing, or production environments is desirable. Flexibility to travel uk wide having a driving licence and work outside core hours (with paid door to ddor overtime for additional hours or any weekends).
