Job Title: Supply Chain Manager
Job Purpose:
To manage the Bumi Armada UK Ltd (BAUK) Supply Chain Team and support the Armada Kraken onshore and offshore Operations Teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, maintain, and manage operational procurement, contractual, and logistics processes and procedures.
2. Liaise with the Client on operational procurement, logistics, and contractual matters.
3. Own all procurement and contractual processes to ensure efficient operations of the Armada Kraken FPSO.
4. Provide procurement and contractual advice to the BAUK onshore and offshore Operations Teams.
5. Collaborate with BAUK onshore discipline engineers and management, updating them on procurement progress.
6. Manage the BAUK Contract Register, including contract extensions and re-negotiations aligned with expiry dates.
7. Ensure all major service purchase orders are negotiated and issued according to the yearly budget.
8. Maintain procurement compliance with 28-day, Week 5-8, and 90-day asset plans.
9. Prepare and issue ITT / RFQ tender documents to approved suppliers.
10. Conduct commercial and technical evaluations, and prepare joint recommendations with technical teams.
11. Work closely with clients on high-profile/high-value contracts and participate in contract strategy meetings.
12. Coordinate expediting activities with the onshore Operations Team.
13. Lead negotiations on all commercial issues with suppliers.
14. Ensure purchase requisitions are prepared in SAP, approved, and expedited in line with company policies.
15. Collaborate with the Finance Department to resolve invoice queries.
16. Act as the focal point for all commercial bid clarifications.
17. Participate as a member of the onshore Emergency Response team.
18. Evaluate vendor and supplier performance and recommend improvements.
19. Coordinate materials related to installation works and ensure timely delivery.
20. Work with the Supply Chain Coordinator to ensure timely delivery of materials to the installation.
21. Hold weekly procurement progress meetings with overseas counterparts.
22. Travel to Malaysia Head Office when required.
23. Conduct offshore visits as needed.
24. Provide supervision and guidance to direct reports on procurement matters.
25. Perform other related tasks as required.
