Position Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic, flexible, and caring people to join our team across the region to continue improving the lives of the young people within our care. The young people in our care range between the ages of 8–18 years and have behavioural and emotional needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead shifts and deputise for the Registered Manager when required.
* Ensure the team of Residential Care Workers is up to date with mandatory learning and development.
* Communicate with the on‑site team and raise awareness of individual care plans.
* Maintain accurate written records in logs, continuation sheets and files.
* Contribute to team and staff meetings, facilitating good communication and staff development.
* Provide support and care to the young people within the services.
* Encourage young people in their preparation to re‑enter education or engage in their current schooling.
* Travel with young people to and from school or college.
* Prepare meals at meal times and maintain the environment through cleaning and laundry.
* Organise and facilitate social activities.

Requirements
* Hold a full UK driving licence.
* Desire to earn a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
* 12 months experience in a residential setting desirable; applications are encouraged from those starting out.
* Reference checking and DBS check in line with government regulations.

Employment Information
Shift pattern: 16‑24 hour night shift, including sleep‑in, on a one‑on‑two‑off or two‑on‑four‑off basis.
