The role involves ensuring that property information is accurately captured, stored securely, and reported in line with legal and organisational requirements. The postholder will act as a key contact for property data enquiries and provide advice, guidance, and training to colleagues on best practices for managing property information.Responsibilities:
* Act as the Councils Property Information Officer and main contact for property data.
* Maintain and develop the Councils property data systems and asset registers.
* Ensure all property data is accurately captured, stored, and disposed of in accordance with retention schedules and legal requirements.
* Provide training and guidance to colleagues on data capture, storage, and use of the property information system.
* Maintain a good understanding of Council functions to provide relevant advice on property information management.
