The role
of the Customer Service agent will include:
1. Coordinating and scheduling reactive breakdowns, installations, decommissions, and other service tasks.
2. Managing travel and accommodation arrangements for staff.
3. Handling key administration tasks to keep operations running smoothly.
4. Collaborating with a small, flexible team in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
5. Ensure accurate data entry in the service management system.
6. Prepare customer quotes and process purchase orders for chargeable jobs.
7. Track job progress to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
8. Provide phone support to engineers in the field.
9. Allocate work to engineers effectively, ensuring compliance with health and safety policies.
10. Organise travel and hotel bookings, maintaining cost efficiency.
Skills and experience required for the Customer Service agent include:
11. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills with proven experience.
12. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite – database experience is preferred.
13. Strong multitasking and organisational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
14. A team player with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude.
15. Ability to think proactively and solve problems effectively.
16. Good geographical knowledge is advantageous.
