We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Integrated Specialist Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to join our multidisciplinary team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver expert palliative and end‑of‑life care across acute, community and integrated settings, supporting patients with complex needs and their families. To provide a highly specialist palliative care service for people with life‑threatening illness, aiming to enhance quality of life for patients and carers with complex physical, psychological and emotional needs. To manage a caseload and assess and evaluate the care given. To act as a specialist resource for other professionals including independent contractors, this includes the development and delivery of educational programmes both on a primary care and the private sector (care homes) related to the care and management of patients.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse status with significant post‑registration experience
* Specialist knowledge and experience in palliative and end‑of‑life care
* Excellent communication, leadership and multidisciplinary working skills
* Commitment to education, service development and quality improvement
