Tesco Colleague Nights - Corstorphine Extra – Edinburgh, Scotland, United Kingdom
Pay: Tesco colleague rate starts from £12.45 per hour; increases to £13.66 for stores inside the M25. For hours worked between midnight and 6am, an additional night premium of £2.35 per hour applies. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
Hours policy: New colleagues joining Tesco are offered a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week. If you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), opportunities are available and we would still love to hear from you.
Availability: The role requires availability windows as shown in the schedule. We will schedule contracted hours within these times and provide 3 weeks notice of shifts. We welcome flexibility if your availability closely matches but does not exactly align with advertised times.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for
* Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride; providing natural, friendly service.
* Being passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
* Working across the store in service, picking and replenishment areas when required.
* Applying training to work safely, effectively and to serve customers brilliantly.
* Making decisions that are right for customers and delivering in-store routines that meet needs at the right time.
* Participating in seasonal, community and charity events; creating a great inclusive atmosphere.
* Understanding store performance, the role you play, and how to drive service, sales, waste reduction and profitability.
* Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in good condition.
* Living Tesco values, making everyone feel welcome and following policies.
* Occasionally assisting with deliveries into the store.
