We have an excellent opportunity for a dedicated, reliable, and enthusiastic Admin and Attendance Assistant to play an integral role in our busy Construction department.
The Admin and Attendance Assistant is a key part of the department and will be responsible for providing an adaptive, timely, and efficient administrative service across the team and college in line with best practices, relevant policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities include:
1. Delivering a high level of customer service for the Construction department.
2. Supporting the work of the department by providing exceptional administrative support across all areas of the College, including staff and student records and the recruitment process.
3. Providing an initial response to general queries received by the Construction & Engineering department.
4. Responding promptly to queries from learners, staff, and management in a friendly and engaging manner, ensuring they are kept informed at every stage as directed by the management team.
5. Maintaining and updating at-risk registers, ensuring they are accurate and current.
6. Supporting the delivery of the College Induction process to all new employees.
7. Creating shortlisting packs and assisting with arranging interviews.
8. Logging all training sessions and attendance on the LMS via available reports and relaying this information to the relevant manager; working with departments to ensure accurate CPD records for staff.
9. Producing correspondence to staff and providing relevant documentation to support key processes.
10. Managing and updating Fee Waiver Trackers, cross-college Departmental Training Plans, and induction records accurately.
