Newly Qualified HGV Driver.
We are looking for newly qualified HGV drivers to join our team at The NWH Group! We are one of the UK’s leading recycling and waste management businesses with a mission to change our industry for the benefit of the planet.
We understand the difficulties drivers can face trying to get into a HGV driving role without years of experience.
Fed up of being offered ridiculously low pay because you have no “experience” ? Well we aim to change that at The NWH Group.
We strongly believe in the development and promotion of our staff, therefore we have rolled out our trainee driver scheme.We are looking for HGV drivers who have their HGV license and have some level of commercial driving experience (this doesn’t have to be in an HGV) 2 years would be preferable.
The Pay: We will pay you £12.60 per hour for the first 8 hours then time and a half after.
1. Overtime options available when required
What will we do for you
2. You will enter on our Tipper or Skips fleet
3. We will give you 5 weeks training and a dedicated mentor.
4. When you are signed off we will move you to a full time driver rate.
5. You will have to pass a driving assessment prior to your training, this is to ensure that this role is right for you.

We have rolled this scheme out in Edinburgh and the Lothians at the moment and are looking for applications from this area only.
