The team
The Performance Marketing team sits within the wider Direct Acquisition team, which also includes sales and brand. We are responsible for supporting the top of funnel growth of our core lending business across a number of offline and online channels from Mail to Search and Social.
The role
This is a high-impact role where you’ll directly influence paid search growth at iwoca.
We’re looking for a Senior Paid Search Executive with hands‑on experience in Google Ads to support the overall management, optimisation, and scaling of our Paid Search channel.
You’ll manage day‑to‑day Google campaigns, lead our growth strategy on Bing, and help drive expansion into new search opportunities such as ChatGPT Ads, YouTube, Display, and Google Demand Generation. You’ll work with a significant budget and help shape the future of paid search at iwoca.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Help build and execute growth plans beyond Google Search: drive sustainable growth on Bing and support expansion into new channels such YouTube, Display, Programmatic and Google Demand Gen,
* Launch, optimise, and scale campaigns: across Google Search, Performance Max, YouTube, and Bing.
* Maintain account hygiene: Collaborate with channel lead on implementing AI-driven solutions for increased automation in this area and more
* Support testing and insights: design and analyse A/B, multivariate, and geo tests; run landing page experiments using Webflow and translate data into actionable improvements.
* Contribute to creative: assist in developing text, image, and video ads; share performance insights to improve campaigns.
* Monitor and report: track granular campaign performance, identify opportunities for improvement, build dashboards, and collaborate with Acquitech to ensure data accuracy.
Requirements
* Hands‑on Google Ads experience: 2–3 years managing, optimising, and scaling campaigns; Bing Ads a plus.
* Paid Search expertise: strong understanding of channel dynamics, metrics, and what drives performance.
* Data‑driven and analytical: interpret complex data, generate actionable insights, and optimise campaigns based on A/B, multivariate, or geo tests.
* Ownership and impact: manage day‑to‑day campaigns independently while contributing ideas to grow the channel.
* Creative and proactive: go beyond repetitive tasks, spot opportunities independently, and be confident in raising ideas or challenging approaches.
* Strong communication: collaborate effectively with stakeholders across functions and seniority levels.
* Attention to detail & copywriting: ensure ad copy, keywords, and creatives drive results.
* Organised and commercially aware: prioritise effectively and understand the business impact of campaigns.
Preferred
* Experience working with six‑figure monthly budgets
* Some experience working within Bing Ads
* Experience in fintech or similar industry.

The salary
We expect to pay from £35,000 - £45,000 for this role. But, we’re open-minded, so definitely include your salary goals with your application. We routinely benchmark salaries against market rates, and run quarterly performance and salary review.
