We are looking for a Network Architect. Your primary role will be to ensure effective Design, Development, Validation, and Support activities using SDWAN (Viptela) to ensure our clients are satisfied with high levels of service in the technology domain.
Expected qualifications and critical experiences:
* Min 10+ years of Network Operations/Design/Deployment experience in large enterprise environments
* Hands-on experience with SDWAN (Viptela), Routers, Switches, Firewalls, etc.
* Handling escalated troubleshooting calls related to Routing, Switching, Wireless, Firewalls & VPN
* Firewalls – Palo Alto mandatory; Cisco, Juniper, or Fortinet preferred
* Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus switches, Juniper SRX series, & Fortigate
* Experience with Wireless LAN technologies – Cisco and Aruba
* Experience with WAN Acceleration/optimization (Riverbed)
* Knowledge of Network Management tools – SolarWinds, HPNNMi, Splunk, etc.
* Experience with Application Load balancers – F5 Big IP LTM/GTM or Citrix NetScaler
* Experience implementing & troubleshooting Infoblox solutions such as IPAM, DHCP, DNS, vDiscovery
* Understanding of DHCP scope creation, options, servers, and Windows platform
* Experience in designing POA for complex change/projects; knowledge in preparing RFO, RCA, documentation, Knowledge Bank
* Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) is a plus
* Cisco and other industry-standard networking certifications
* Extensive experience in System Fault Tolerance, Networking Design, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery
* Expertise in LAN/WAN architecture analysis, implementation, troubleshooting, and documentation
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Experience participating in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings
* Deep understanding of data center technologies (vPC, VDC, OTV, FEX)
* Expertise in static and dynamic routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) and resolving complex route table issues
* Adherence to SLAs, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, process definition and adherence, installation, configuration, and migration oversight
* Ensuring maximum uptime per SLA, supporting multi-geo environments, and building/testing environments
* Focus on customer and employee satisfaction, technology innovation, process improvement, and team skill development
Mandatory Education, Skills & Certifications:
* WLAN Appliance – Cisco and Aruba
* IPAM – Infoblox or others
* Load Balancer – F5
* ITIL v3/v4
* CCIE - R&S or equivalent
* CISSP, CISM, CCSP certifications
* Excellent communication and customer handling skills
* Ability to handle high-pressure situations and demonstrate high acceptance
* Ability to promote HCL’s values and methodology
